Yep this weekend I'll be making my second trip this year to the Big Easy. I had a blast when I was down there for Mardi Gras. From what my friends tell me its more fun (at least for colored folks) during Essence. I don't know if I'll get to make any concerts but I sure will be partying hard. I'm going to get it in this weekend. I sure do need to mini-vacation. The monotony of the lab is really starting to get to me. I actually enjoyed having the distraction of teaching over the past month but now that that's over, I'm right back to where I started. So New Orleans, here I come. Hope y'all are ready.

I'm jealous!! I loved NO the one time I went for Mardi Gras as well. Have fun, and don't rot your liver all at once, lol!!
dc: you should have taken "brian" up on his offer. you could have been living it up too, drinking daiquiris on bourbon too. lol
minx: me and my liver have an understanding. i get to have fun on the weekends and i pay my liver during the week w/ water and different types of cranberry juice.

i would say hope you post pictures...but you talking about abusing your liver lol so seems that likelihood is low :)
jillian- i'll probably post a few on here or on facebook. vodka and me are friends so there will probably be some good flicks.
